Keeping

Shared inbox for Gmail.

Visit Keeping

Keeping is a shared inbox and help desk that operates inside Gmail, Google Workspace, and G Suite. Support emails are routed through Keeping's servers and synced to team work accounts, so replies are sent from the original support address. The tool addresses the coordination problems of managing customer email without a dedicated ticketing system: assigning requests, tracking who is responding, and preventing duplicate replies. It supports Google Groups and Gmail aliases, and works through a Chrome extension (with Safari compatibility) plus a mobile-friendly web portal.

Core capabilities include assignment and tracking, collision detection, internal notes with @mentions, tags, shared templates, an autoresponder, and a workflow rule engine with round robin assignment. Reporting covers response times, agent performance, mailbox activity, and CSAT surveys, with CSV export on higher tiers. Integrations include Slack, Shopify, WooCommerce, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier, Asana, Jira, ClickUp, Linear, monday.com, and Shortcut. An AI feature detects when a "thank you" response has been received.

Keeping is aimed at teams handling shared support, HR, or work-order inboxes. It is packaged as three seat-based plans—Essentials, Advanced, and HIPAA—each with a 14-day trial and a two-user minimum, with monthly or annual billing. The HIPAA edition adds a signed business associate agreement and dedicated account management.
