FactGrid is a collaborative, multilingual research database built on MediaWiki with the Wikibase extension, developed by the Gotha Research Centre, the Historical Data Centre, and the Thuringian State and University Library. It stores research data as structured, machine-readable claims in the form of triples, allowing researchers to collect, organize, and explore information about items such as people, places, and concepts. All FactGrid data are released under a CC0 license.

The platform includes a SPARQL Query Service for data mining, sample queries, advanced text search, and a FactGrid Viewer for browsing items. Data can be downloaded in various formats for use in external software or visualization tools. Additional tools include QuickStatements for batch editing, Beam-me-up for harvesting, item merging, lexeme support, and a directory of properties. Integrations and extensions include PhiloBiblon UI, FacTree Genealogies, and a Tool Server.

FactGrid is intended for researchers and collaborative projects seeking to present and maintain research data over time. An account is required to add statements; details on accounts are covered in the Terms of Service. No pricing or plan structure is indicated.
