SciFlow

Academic writing and publishing, simplified.

Visit SciFlow

SciFlow is a browser-based academic writing and publishing platform that connects researchers, students, institutions, and publishers in one workflow. It addresses the manual effort involved in formatting manuscripts, managing references, coordinating co-authors, and preparing submissions for journals or repositories.

The platform includes SciFlow Authoring, a collaborative text editor with real-time editing, tracked changes, comments, integrated citation management, and automatic formatting against journal and institutional templates. Documents can be exported as PDF/UA, HTML, JATS/XML, EPUB, or custom formats, and AI-assisted conversion can transform Word documents into structured formats. SciFlow Publish supports manuscript import, editorial roles, collection and issue management, and export workflows, with API access and plugin-based customization. Institutional deployments can be branded and centrally managed, with LMS and repository integration and WCAG-compliant accessibility features.

SciFlow is offered as a free plan for individual students and researchers, a Groups plan for working teams, and an Authoring Platform edition for universities and research institutes. SciFlow Publish is available in a standard edition for university presses and publishers and an Enterprise edition for larger publishing organizations.
