lhenguabase

Collaborative digital dictionary for documenting and revitalizing the Mirandese language.

Visit lhenguabase

Lhenguabase is a structured, open, collaborative database hosted on Wikibase Cloud for collecting, editing, and consulting lexicographic data about the Mirandese language. It follows semantic web and multilingual principles and supports collaborative work by multiple contributors. Submissions are validated by a native Mirandese speaker and a lexicography specialist.

The platform includes lexical entries with senses and glosses in Mirandese and Portuguese, usage examples, ontology classes and instances, and alignments with Wikidata. Lexical entries can be cloned from Wikidata, and SPARQL queries are provided for retrieving entries with glosses, usage examples, cloned lexemes, ontology classes, and Wikidata alignments. The Wikibase interface offers tools for creating items, properties, lexemes, and schemas, along with a Query Service, Cradle, and QuickStatements.
