WinPcap
The industry-standard packet capture library for Windows.
WinPcap is a packet capture and filtering library for Windows, consisting of a driver that extends the operating system to provide low-level network access and a library for accessing low-level network layers. It includes the Windows version of the libpcap Unix API, kernel-level packet filtering, a network statistics engine, and support for remote packet capture. It has been used as the capture engine for many open source and commercial network tools such as protocol analyzers, network monitors, intrusion detection systems, sniffers, traffic generators, and network testers. The site is also home to WinDump, the Windows version of tcpdump, and NTAR.
