Advanced network toolbox for Mac and iOS
Surge is a network toolbox and proxy client for Mac and iOS that takes over a device's network traffic, routes each request through a configurable rule system, and forwards it via proxy protocols including HTTP/2 CONNECT, MASQUE, Trust Tunnel, Shadowsocks, Trojan, Snell, Hysteria 2, WireGuard, Tailscale, and SSH. It also serves as an HTTP debugging tool for monitoring requests in real time, decrypting HTTPS traffic, rewriting requests and responses, mapping responses to local data, and extending behavior with JavaScript.
Its rule system routes by domain, IP range, GeoIP, ASN, process, protocol, and port, with AND/OR/NOT logic and reusable rule sets. Other capabilities include a complete DNS suite with encrypted resolvers and local mapping, MitM HTTPS decryption with a certificate generator, URL/header/body rewriting, scripting, a Smart Group policy selector, Surge Ponte device-to-device networking, Enhanced Mode, Gateway Mode for LAN traffic, and a Remote Dashboard for inspecting iOS traffic over Wi-Fi or USB. Surge iOS is a fully independent version with the same rule system, proxy protocols, DNS suite, MitM, and scripting.
