Sourcegraph

The context layer for your entire codebase

Visit Sourcegraph

Sourcegraph is a code intelligence platform that indexes repositories across an organization's codebase, giving developers and AI agents a shared source of context for searching, understanding, and modifying code. It addresses the problem of large and growing codebases where agents and engineers otherwise work from incomplete information, leading to inconsistent changes and missed dependencies.

The platform includes Code Search, symbol search, and code navigation for deterministic codebase queries, plus AI-powered Deep Search that answers natural-language questions with citations. An MCP Server provides SCIP-powered context to coding agents, with integrations for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and Amp, alongside GraphQL and REST APIs and a CLI. Oversight features include Code Insights for tracking migrations and adoption, Code Monitoring for change alerts, and Living Documentation. Agentic Batch Changes supports large-scale modifications across repositories, and the platform works with major code hosts and languages.

Sourcegraph is packaged as an Enterprise plan with a minimum annual contract, including AI feature credits that scale with team size and can be pooled org-wide. It offers single-tenant cloud and self-hosted deployment, enterprise security controls, SSO, SCIM, and RBAC, with 24×5 support and optional premium support. A free trial is referenced in the pricing FAQ.
