RhodeCode

Enterprise Source Code Management for Mercurial, Git, and Subversion

Visit RhodeCode

RhodeCode is an enterprise source code management platform that brings Mercurial, Git, and Subversion repositories under one interface, providing unified permission management, code reviews, and tool integration in a behind-the-firewall environment. It addresses the need to govern access to software assets, run consistent review workflows across repository types, and connect existing codebases with external tools and issue trackers.

Core capabilities include code reviews with inline comments and smart commits, full text search across repositories and comments, an online editor, visual changelog and graphlog views, remote repository sync and replication, artifacts management, large binary file support, and a JSON-RPC API. The RCstack installer manages Docker-based deployments on Linux, including offline operation. Integrations cover Jenkins, TeamCity, Travis CI, JIRA, Redmine, Trello, GitHub, BitBucket, Confluence, Slack, and custom JSON webhooks, with enterprise authentication options such as LDAP, SAML, AD, CAS, Google, OAuth, and 2FA.

RhodeCode is aimed at software teams and enterprises managing multiple repository types with centralized access control. It is packaged as a free and open source Community Edition with unlimited users and community support, an Enterprise Edition licensed per user per year with a minimum seat count and technical support under an SLA, and a hosted Cloud edition offered as a monthly subscription with a minimum seat count. A 30-day trial is available for the Enterprise and Cloud editions.
