Assembla

Managed cloud hosting for Perforce, SVN and Git with project management included.

Visit Assembla

Assembla is a managed cloud hosting platform for Perforce (Helix Core), Subversion (SVN) and Git repositories, with project management included. The company provisions, maintains, secures and scales version control infrastructure on AWS, so teams do not need to manage servers, backups or failover themselves. It has operated since 2005 and is an Idera, Inc. company.

The platform combines source code management (Repos) with project management (Spaces): sprint planning, ticketing, wikis, code review, merge requests, cardwalls and kanban, burndown charts and milestones. Security features include SOC 2 Type II certification, GDPR compliance, AES-256 encryption, SAML 2.0 and OAuth 2.0 SSO, two-factor authentication, RBAC, IP whitelisting, branch protection, secret scanning, hourly backups and audit logs. Repositories deploy across AWS regions in the US, EU and APAC, with an API for custom workflows and integrations.

Assembla targets development teams working with Git, SVN or Perforce, including game development, entertainment and semiconductor work. It is packaged as Assembla Cloud (Git and SVN) and Perforce Cloud, priced per user per month with annual or month-to-month billing, plus a standalone project management plan and dedicated single-tenant instances for enterprise customers. A free 14-day trial is available without a credit card.
