Sourcetree

Simplicity and power in a beautiful Git GUI

Visit Sourcetree

Sourcetree is a free Git client for Windows and Mac that provides a visual interface for working with Git and Mercurial repositories, letting users manage version control without the command line. It covers everyday tasks such as staging and discarding changes by file, hunk, or line, reviewing changesets, stashing, cherry-picking between branches, and interactive rebase, with detailed branching diagrams and a Git status view for tracking work.

The client supports Git Large File Support, Git-flow smart branching, submodules, local commit search, and a remote repository manager for finding and cloning repositories. It includes tutorials covering branching and merging, a Beta Program for trying new features, and Sourcetree for Windows Enterprise for installation, updates, and management in managed environments. It is available for Windows and Mac at no cost, with an enterprise edition for managed deployment.
