Waveroom
Record podcasts, meetings and interviews in studio quality from your browser.
Waveroom is a browser-based remote recording studio for podcasts, interviews, meetings, and similar sessions. It records each participant locally on their own device, so connection quality does not affect the captured files, and it returns separate video and audio tracks for every guest after the session.
The tool records video up to 2K resolution in MP4 and uncompressed 48 kHz WAV audio, with background noise removal applied to recordings. Sessions are started by sharing a link and support up to five participants at once, with recordings stored on servers for 90 days. Listed upcoming capabilities include simplified editing, automatic gap removal, speech-to-text transcription, and mobile support.
Waveroom is aimed at podcasters, interviewers, educators, and teams working across locations. A free plan covers unlimited recordings with up to five participants at the stated resolution and audio format; an Enterprise edition raises the participant limit to ten or more and is arranged through sales. Sessions run up to 120 minutes and can be extended without interrupting the recording.
