UltraViewer is remote desktop software for Windows that lets one person control another computer to provide support as if they were physically present. The partner can watch all activity on their screen and take control at any time, and sessions can be ended by closing the application. Connections are made by entering an ID and password displayed on the partner's UltraViewer.
Features include a chat window toggled with a hotkey, file transfer from the chat window, and the ability to control multiple computers simultaneously or share a screen with several computers. It runs on Windows XP through Windows 11 and Windows Server, but not on macOS. Paid editions add an address book, PC sound, custom client branding, higher frame rates with alternate connection routes, video recording, sleep prevention, and remote wake-up.
UltraViewer is aimed at technicians and support staff assisting clients or partners remotely. A free version is available, alongside Lite, Professional, and Premium editions. Lite covers one user on one device with one concurrent session and a monthly remote endpoint limit; Professional and Premium allow installation on up to six or twelve devices respectively, with one user active at a time. Premium supports unlimited concurrent sessions. Plans are billed annually, with a 15-day money-back guarantee.
