U++

Cross-Platform App Development Framework

Visit U++

U++ is a C++ cross-platform rapid application development framework focused on programmer productivity. It combines a set of libraries, including GUI and SQL, with an integrated development environment, using C++ itself rather than code generators to support rapid development while retaining C/C++ runtime characteristics.

The IDE, TheIDE, introduces modular concepts to C++ programming. It includes BLITZ-build technology for faster C++ rebuilds, visual designers for U++ libraries, Topic++ for documenting code and creating rich text resources, and Assist++ for code analysis, completion, navigation, and transformation. TheIDE works with GCC, Clang, MinGW, and Visual C++, includes a debugger, and can also be used to develop non-U++ applications. U++ supports Windows, macOS, GNU/Linux, and FreeBSD at the production level.

U++ is distributed under the BSD license and can be used as a library, an IDE, or both. The download provides the C++ library in source form and TheIDE for developing large C++ applications.
