SparkleShare
Self-hosted, instant, secure file sync.
SparkleShare creates a special folder on your computer to which you can add remotely hosted folders called projects. These projects are automatically kept in sync with the host and all peers whenever someone adds, removes or edits a file. It uses Git under the hood, so plain Git repositories work with existing tools. The project notes it handles frequently changing project files (text, office docs, images), tracking files edited by multiple people, reverting a file to any point in its history, and preventing spying on files on the server using encryption. It is less suited to full computer backups and large binary files that change often, like video editing projects.
