Syncthing
A continuous file synchronization program that synchronizes files between two or more.
Syncthing is a continuous file synchronization program that keeps files in sync across two or more computers in real time. It is designed for people who want to choose where their data is stored and how it is transmitted, with files remaining on their own devices rather than on a central server. Communication is protected using TLS with perfect forward secrecy, and each device is identified by a cryptographic certificate, so only explicitly allowed devices can connect.
Syncthing can synchronize any number of folders, either between a user's own devices or with other people. It runs on macOS, Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, OpenBSD and other platforms, and can be configured and monitored through a browser-based interface. Devices connect over a local network or the internet without requiring IP addresses or manual port forwarding; UPnP can handle discovery when needed. The protocol is documented, the source code is published, and release binaries can be verified using PGP signatures and SHA256 checksums. Syncthing is open source, and commercial support is available through Kastelo.
