ProjectSend is an open-source client portal for sharing files privately with clients, partners, and teams, hosted on infrastructure you control. It addresses the problem of handing data to third-party platforms by letting you run the software on your own server, keeping file storage and access under your administration.
Key features include client portals with upload-back workflows, client groups, role-based permissions, two-factor authentication, LDAP and single sign-on, a REST API with scoped tokens, download limits, storage quotas, external object storage, custom fields, comments and file versions, automatic expiration, activity logs, branded portals and emails, and support for sixteen interface languages. Installation is available via Docker Compose or a release zip on an nginx server.
