Sketchfab is a browser-based 3D viewer and hosting platform that lets creators publish, share, discover and embed 3D models without installing plugins. It works across major operating systems and browsers, supports VR and AR viewing, and provides a way to distribute and showcase 3D content online.
The platform includes a built-in 3D editor for adjusting orientation, materials, lighting, camera parameters and post-processing filters, along with annotations, animation controls and inspection tools. Models can be uploaded via exporter plugins for tools such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, SketchUp and Unity, or in bulk through the API. The Viewer API and Download API support building custom applications and configurators, and models can be embedded on websites and social platforms. Team features include multiple seats, permission management and shared projects and folders.
Sketchfab offers a free Basic plan for individuals, with paid Pro, Premium and Enterprise editions that increase upload limits, file sizes and annotation counts, and add private uploads, custom backgrounds, white-label embedding and team capabilities. Paid plans are billed yearly, and Enterprise is available by quote.
