Rendi

Run FFmpeg commands in the cloud via a REST API with no installation.

Visit Rendi

Rendi is a cloud FFmpeg service that lets developers submit FFmpeg commands as POST requests to a REST API, then poll for results or receive them through a webhook. It is designed for serverless platforms such as Vercel, Supabase, Netlify, and Cloudflare Workers, where short timeouts and restricted runtimes make running FFmpeg in-process impractical. Jobs execute on Rendi's own infrastructure, with auto-scaling, isolated disposable environments per command, and support for long run times.

The service includes an MCP documentation server for AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Grok, and Gemini CLI, plus plain markdown docs, an llms.txt index, and an OpenAPI spec. Capabilities include file storage and FFprobe analysis, chained commands, dynamic input and output files, API webhooks, and integrations with Zapier and Make. Commands can use up to 32 vCPUs, with more available by request.

Rendi offers a free plan for individuals exploring the service, a Pro plan for production applications, and an Enterprise edition with custom terms, dedicated infrastructure, and SOC2 support. Pro is available in 10-minute and unlimited-runtime variants, with vCPU, processing, and storage tiers. Processing is calculated from combined input and output media size, and accounts can run multiple commands in parallel within their vCPU quota.
