Centmin Mod is a command-line toolkit for deploying and managing optimized LEMP stacks on supported Linux servers. It installs Nginx, PHP-FPM, and MariaDB with tuned defaults, reducing the manual configuration needed to set up a web server. It targets AlmaLinux 8/9/10, Rocky Linux 8/9/10, and CentOS 7 (legacy), on x86_64 KVM/Xen virtualization.
The centmin.sh shell menu provides 24 options covering installation, Nginx vhost management, PHP and MariaDB upgrades, database management, WordPress auto-install, and server maintenance. It includes source-compiled Nginx with HTTP/2, Brotli, Lua, and OpenResty modules; PHP 7.4–8.5 via PHP-FPM with Zend OpCache, Memcached, Redis, and ImageMagick extensions; MariaDB 10.6–11.8 LTS with optimized InnoDB settings; Let's Encrypt SSL with ZeroSSL and Google CA support; CSF Firewall auto-configuration; SSHD hardening; and Pure-FTPD virtual FTP users. PostgreSQL management, NSD DNS, FFMPEG, and multi-thread compression tools are also available through the menu.
Centmin Mod is released under GPLv3 as open source, with no paid editions, trials, or seat-based licensing described. It is intended for administrators managing their own servers, with a minimum of 2GB RAM and 40GB disk, and 4GB+ RAM with SSD recommended.
