NewReleases is a notification service that tracks new version releases across programming platforms and package registries, including GitHub, GitLab, Codeberg, Gitea, Bitbucket, GNU Savannah, PyPI, Maven Central, NPM, Yarn, RubyGems, Packagist, NuGet, Cargo, Hex, CPAN, Docker Hub, AWS ECR Public, Quay, and Artifact Hub. It addresses the task of monitoring dependencies for updates, bug fixes, and breaking changes without manually checking each source.

Notifications can be delivered to email, Slack, Telegram, Discord, Google Chat, Microsoft Teams, Mattermost, Rocket.Chat, Matrix, and custom webhooks. Email digests can be scheduled hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly per project, with instant email, instant messaging, and webhook notifications also available. Projects can be imported from GitHub stars or dependency files such as requirements.txt, pom.xml, go.mod, package.json, Gemfile, composer.json, and Cargo.toml. Filtering is available by regular expression, pre-release flag, and updated state, and GitHub release notes are included in notifications. The service also provides organizations for collaboration, an HTTP API, and a command line interface.

NewReleases is free, with all features included and no credit card required; donations are accepted.
