MistServer is a streaming media toolkit for OTT (internet streaming), aimed at developers and system integrators. It provides the components needed to build and operate streaming workflows, with documentation, examples, and how-to guides covering topics such as OBS, proxying, access control, and protocol usage.
The toolkit includes an online manual and PDF documentation, a meta-player with skins, and support for protocols including WebRTC, SRT, RIST, and Matroska. It runs on Linux (x86_64, x86, ARMv7, ARMv8), Windows (Cygwin), and macOS (x86_64 and arm64), with source code and a Docker image also available. Integrations and tooling referenced include FFmpeg, OBS, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and Certbot, along with a developer portal, changelog, and GitHub repository.
