moOde Audio is a free and open source audio player for the Raspberry Pi family of single board computers, distributed under GPLv3. It provides a responsive web user interface accessible from any browser on desktop, tablet, smartphone, TV and ultra-wide displays, with no app install required. Player preference, configuration and operational data are stored locally on the boot media.

Features include library tag, album and folder views, radio and playlist views with a global Radio Browser, advanced search and saved library views. Playback supports hires, DSD and multichannel, multiroom synchronized audio, curated streaming radio, a CamillaDSP Pipeline editor, quick config switching, 64-bit volume control with dither, and async/sync resampling via SoX/MPD with custom recipes, selective sample-rate handling and predefined profiles. Audio renderers include Bluetooth, AirPlay 1 and 2, Spotify Connect, Qobuz Connect, UPnP/MPD proxy, Squeezelite, RoonBridge and PlexAmp. Outputs cover USB2/3, HDMI, IEC958 and I2S/I2C, with Ethernet and WiFi networking, WiFi Hotspot, DHCP or static addressing, SMB, NFS and DLNA file sharing, and local storage from SD Card, USB drive, NVMe and PCIe SATA. A REST API allows control by third-party applications.

moOde is aimed at the DIY audio community and audiophile users building Raspberry Pi-based playback systems. It is packaged as free and open source software with no subscription or paid edition; installation is via the Raspberry Pi Imager from the Media Player OS section, with setup and help guides, a support forum, and developer resources including source repositories, image and package builders, and a master development guide.
