4 out of 5 intelligence services recommend this blog.
MicroApache 2.0.64 with PHP 5.2.17 is a compact Apache web server distribution for Windows, provided as a downloadable archive. It is intended for testing websites during development and for running a portable DokuWiki installation from removable media such as a USB stick.
The server runs from a small footprint and listens on port 8800 by default, serving files from the www directory. Its configuration is stored in conf\httpd.conf and can be edited with a text editor. The server is started with go.bat and stopped with stop.bat, and a default index.php page displays server and PHP version information. The distribution is intended for local use only and is not configured for safe operation on a network or the internet.
The package is offered as a direct download with no stated plans, editions, or seat-based licensing.
