MeshLab
The open-source system for processing and editing 3D triangular meshes.
MeshLab is an open-source desktop application for processing and editing 3D triangular meshes. It provides tools for editing, cleaning, healing, inspecting, rendering, texturing and converting meshes, and supports processing raw data from 3D digitization tools as well as preparing models for 3D printing.
The application includes plugins such as Global Registration and exact mesh booleans, along with Screened Poisson surface reconstruction, transformation filters, and metric information tools. It handles a range of file formats including glTF, GLB, NXS, NXZ, E57, 3MF, and NVM projects. PyMeshLab, a Python library, supports batch processing using MeshLab filters. MeshLab runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, with builds available through the Microsoft Store, FlatPak, and AppImage.
MeshLab is distributed under the GPL 3.0 license and is developed by the Visual Computing Lab of ISTI-CNR. It is available as a free download with no paid editions or seat-based plans indicated.
