LibrePCB is a free, cross-platform electronic design automation suite for drawing schematics and designing printed circuit boards. It runs on Windows, Linux and macOS, and can be used fully offline without an online account. The project is open source under the GPLv3 license, with source code published on GitHub.
The suite includes a Schematic Editor, Board Editor, Library Editor and Library Management, along with Output Jobs and an integrated PCB fabrication service. Libraries use a semantic organization model, and project files are human-readable and canonical to support version control. The librepcb-cli command-line interface enables headless checks and data exports for automation in CI pipelines. The interface is available in 15 languages.
LibrePCB is aimed at makers, students and professionals, from beginners to experts. It is packaged as free software with no costs or restrictions; no trial, editions or seat-based or usage-based pricing are indicated.
