Heraia
A free (GPL) hexadecimal file editor based on the GtkHex widget from the Ghex project.
Heraia is a free, GPL-licensed hexadecimal file editor developed since 2005. It is built on the GtkHex widget from the Ghex project and is intended for inspecting and editing binary files, with support for interpreting data in multiple formats and for searching within file contents.
Its features include interpretation of bytes, integers, dates such as DOS, filetime and HFS, floats and BCD; undo and redo; copy, cut, paste and delete operations; search and replace; search by data type; file loading and saving; a plugin system; and graphical analysis through the stat plugin. Planned capabilities include template creation and use, along with advanced search.
Heraia is aimed at users who need to examine and modify binary data. It is distributed as free software under the GPL, and the project provides a download of the current code.
