Haml

A template engine for Ruby on Rails

Visit Haml

Haml is a markup language for describing the HTML of a web document without writing inline code. It replaces templating systems such as PHP, ASP and ERB by using indentation rather than text to determine where elements and blocks begin and end, aiming to produce smaller, cleaner templates that reflect the underlying document structure.

Haml automatically formats tags according to indentation, preserving the structure of HTML and XML documents. It is available under the MIT License for use and modification, and the project provides tutorial, documentation and blog resources. The latest release listed is 6.3.0.
