Visit GnuPG

GnuPG (GPG) is a command line tool for encrypting and signing data and communications, implementing the OpenPGP standard as defined in RFC4880. It provides a versatile key management system and access modules for public key directories, and can be integrated with other applications through frontend applications and libraries. GnuPG also supports S/MIME and Secure Shell (ssh).

The tool is Free Software under the GNU General Public License, freely usable, modifiable and distributable. Gpg4win is a Windows version of GnuPG featuring a context menu tool, a crypto manager, and an Outlook plugin for sending and receiving standard PGP/MIME mails. The project follows a full disclosure approach for bugs, with public bug tracking and code repositories, and coordinates privately with distributions on severe vulnerabilities. Security reports can be sent to the project's security address.
