Dart: An approachable, portable, and productive language for high-quality apps on any pla

Visit Dart

Dart is a free and open source programming language for building apps across mobile, desktop, backend, and web. It addresses the need for a single language that can target native platforms and the web while supporting iterative development. The language includes sound null safety, pattern matching, collection if, async-await, and isolate-based concurrency, with a flexible type system and rich static analysis.

Dart compiles to native machine code for ARM, x64, and RISC-V, and to JavaScript and WebAssembly for the web. It supports hot reload for iterating on running apps, and includes tooling for profiling, logging, and debugging in a code editor of choice. The SDK provides core libraries, command-line app support, and browser-based experimentation. Security updates are published for the most recent stable Dart release, with vulnerability reporting handled through a dedicated process and coordination in the project's GitHub repositories.
