Charles is an HTTP proxy, HTTP monitor and reverse proxy for developers who need to inspect the HTTP and SSL/HTTPS traffic between their machine and the Internet. It exposes requests, responses and HTTP headers, including cookies and caching information, so that network behaviour can be examined directly.
The application runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, with a separate Charles for iOS release.
