Bulma

Modern CSS framework based on Flexbox.

Visit Bulma

Bulma is a free, open source CSS framework that supplies ready-to-use frontend components developers can combine to assemble responsive web interfaces. It is built with Sass and is designed so that no CSS knowledge is needed to get started, addressing the task of laying out pages across screen sizes without writing styles from scratch.

The framework is CSS-only and requires no JavaScript, so it can be used alongside any JavaScript environment. It is based on Flexbox and also makes use of Grid and CSS Variables, with a mobile-first, responsive column grid that resizes automatically. Components are modular, so only the pieces needed can be included, and styling is customized by setting Sass variables before importing Bulma. Dark mode is supported, either applied automatically or according to user preference, and themes are available alongside a downloadable package.

Bulma is aimed at developers building responsive web interfaces who want a component library without a prescribed JavaScript layer. It is distributed as free, open source software hosted on GitHub, with no paid editions, trials, or seat-based plans indicated.
