BibDesk
Bibliography manager for macOS
BibDesk is a desktop bibliography manager for macOS that keeps bibliographic records together with their associated files, such as PDFs, or web links. It can automatically move and rename those files, and it integrates with LaTeX editors for citation autocompletion.
The application offers instant filtering of entries, full-text search across attached PDFs, and keyword-based smart groups. It imports plain text, BibTeX and RIS files, extracts bibliographic data from web pages, and connects to library catalogues and publication sites through protocols like Z39.50 and Entrez. Exports cover RIS, BibTeX, EndNote, PDF, rich text, HTML and RSS, with bibliography sharing for collaboration.
BibDesk is an open source project distributed free of charge, with no paid editions or trials described. It targets researchers and LaTeX users who manage reference libraries on macOS.
