BeeBEEP
Free, open source, peer-to-peer LAN messenger
BeeBEEP is an open source, peer-to-peer LAN messenger developed by Marco Mastroddi. It lets people on the same local area network, such as an office, home or internet cafe, chat and share files without needing a server; you download, unzip and start it. Encryption is based on the Rijndael algorithm (AES).
Features include instant messaging to all connected people, groups or single users, creating favorite groups, sending and sharing files and folders (including by drag and drop), offline messages delivered when recipients come online, saved message history, and desktop sharing for assistance or presentations. Releases are available for Windows, MacOSX, Linux, Raspberry (Raspbian), OS/2 and eComStation.
BeeBEEP is free.
