Backtrace
Error and crash reporting for games and mobile apps
Backtrace is a crash and error reporting platform that collects exceptions, panics, core dumps, minidumps, and runtime errors, groups them into structured reports, and provides a web interface for searching, triaging, and debugging. It supports cross-platform monitoring across desktop, mobile, game console, and server environments, including Unity, Unreal, C/C++, Electron, C#, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and Xbox.
Key capabilities include a query and search engine for filtering and grouping reports by custom attributes, automated analysis and classification, web debugging with symbol management, configurable retention for dumps and metadata, and data scrubbing to remove personal information. Backtrace integrates with CI/CD pipelines, source control, alerting, ticket tracking, messaging, and monitoring systems, and can be deployed on-premise or in the cloud.
Backtrace is aimed at game studios, embedded and desktop/mobile software teams, SaaS providers, and development, support, and QA teams. It offers a free Developer plan for individual use with limited monthly errors, retention, and storage; a Standard plan for teams with higher capacity and per-user pricing by platform coverage; and a Professional plan with unlimited errors, custom retention, on-premise or cloud deployment, priority support, and a dedicated technical account manager.
