8gears Container Registry is a hardened distribution of the CNCF-graduated Harbor project, built and operated by Harbor maintainers. It provides a secure, scalable container registry for storing, managing and distributing OCI artifacts. Available as a fully managed service on hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and sovereign clouds, or as a self-hosted distribution for on-premises and air-gapped environments. Features include fine-grained RBAC, OIDC/LDAP integration, vulnerability scanning (Trivy), content signing, audit logs, replication, and multi-tenancy.
