YooMoney is an electronic wallet and card service for everyday payments and transfers. It lets users pay mobile, internet and utility bills, top up game accounts, send money to people and pay in shops, using the wallet or a linked bank card. Transfers can be made to another YooMoney wallet, a bank card or account via SBP, and incoming transfers can be received by wallet number, phone number or a payment link. For businesses, the company points to a separate service, YooKassa, for accepting online payments.
The wallet can be created with a phone number and topped up from a bank card, cash or other methods. Payments can be made by QR code or contactless phone, and the wallet includes transaction details, a collection builder for personal or group fundraising, and a payment button or widget for websites. YooMoney offers virtual and physical Mir cards, with the wallet and card sharing the same balance. The service includes bonus points for selected spending categories, security guidance and wallet restrictions, and is available through a mobile app.
