Yarn

Yarn, the modern JavaScript package manager

Visit Yarn

Yarn is a package manager that also acts as a project manager, handling dependency installation and project organization for simple projects, monorepos, open source work, and enterprise environments. It aims to keep installs stable and reproducible over time, and it supports splitting a project into sub-components through workspaces. The current documentation covers Yarn 4 and above.

Its cache strategies include an offline mirror, which stores the package cache in a project-local folder that can be committed to version control, and zero-installs, which combine the offline mirror with Yarn PnP so that a checkout can effectively replace an install step. Yarn also provides plugins for extending its behavior and offers configuration options for tuning caching to different workflows and CI platforms.
