UNIGINE

Real-time 3D engine and simulation SDK for training, digital twins and visualization.

Visit UNIGINE

UNIGINE is a real-time 3D engine and software development kit for building interactive 3D applications, including simulators, digital twins, visualizations, and VR experiences. Developed in-house since 2005, it addresses the need for physically accurate, large-scale synthetic environments used in training, engineering, and AI verification.

The SDK provides planet-scale world fidelity with 64-bit double precision, detailed terrain, volumetric atmosphere and weather, and full sea-state water simulation. It supports C++ and C# APIs, integrates with simulation protocols (CIGI, HLA, DIS), ROS2, MATLAB/Simulink, and Python DataBridge, and runs on Windows and Linux with DirectX 12 and Vulkan. AI features include sensor simulation (LiDAR, radar, thermal), automatic scene annotation, ground truth export, and an AI Toolkit for agent-assisted world editing. Output spans desktop, multi-screen, immersive dome/CAVE displays, and VR/XR headsets.

UNIGINE is offered in three editions: Sim SDK for simulation and training, Academic Research SDK for labs and R&D teams at academic pricing, and Community SDK for games and VR development (available as a free download). Custom development services cover consulting, software development, 3D content, and system integration. The company also produces a line of hardware benchmarks.
