TeamPassword is a password manager for teams that need to store and share logins for websites, apps, and services. It replaces spreadsheets and shared documents with an encrypted vault where credentials are organized into groups, allowing access to be granted by team, department, project, or client. The service has been operating since 2012 and follows SOC 2 principles for data protection.
Core capabilities include browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, mobile apps for iOS and Android, a built-in password and passphrase generator, a password strength indicator, two-factor authentication with backup codes, Google Sign-In, activity logging, email notifications, file attachments, and a built-in TOTP authenticator. Enterprise plans add one-time secrets, a view-only user role, larger attachment storage, and enterprise single sign-on. Credentials are encrypted locally and in transit, and CSV import is supported.
TeamPassword is aimed at agencies, startups, and distributed teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and support groups. It is packaged as a 14-day free trial with Standard and Enterprise editions, both requiring a minimum of three users and billed per user monthly or annually.
