Taiga

The free and open-source project management tool for cross-functional agile teams

Visit Taiga

Taiga is an open-source agile project management tool for cross-functional teams working with Scrum and Kanban. It provides a shared workspace for planning deliverables, coordinating stand-ups, tracking issues, and monitoring project progress, with the option to run the software on-premise or through hosted plans.

Its core modules include Kanban boards with swim lanes, WIP limits, and epics; Scrum backlog and sprint planning with estimation tools and burn-down charts; integrated issue and bug tracking; dashboards and reporting with project timelines and custom reports; wiki functionality; and customization of roles, permissions, workflows, stages, colors, tags, and fields. It supports switching between Kanban and Scrum, project import and export, embedded onboarding, and integrations partly through Zapier. The self-hosted version is open source and available in more than 20 languages.

Taiga is aimed at agile teams that need a flexible project management workspace, including teams that require data on their own servers. Packaging includes a free plan with limited public and private projects and storage, paid hosted plans with unlimited users and varying project and storage allowances, a dedicated private cloud instance, and an on-premise option with installation, updates, maintenance, and priority support.
