Pulumi

Infrastructure as code using general-purpose programming languages.

Visit Pulumi

Pulumi is an open-source infrastructure as code platform that lets engineers define and manage cloud infrastructure using general-purpose programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, Go, .NET, and Java, as well as YAML and HCL. It addresses the need to build, test, and govern infrastructure with the same tooling used for application development, covering provisioning, secrets and configuration management, resource discovery, policy enforcement, and self-service infrastructure delivery.

The platform includes Pulumi IaC with hundreds of providers for major clouds and services, Pulumi ESC for centralized secrets and configuration with OIDC-based dynamic credentials, Discovery & governance for multi-cloud resource queries and policy as code, and an internal developer platform for templates and golden paths. Pulumi Neo is an AI agent for infrastructure tasks, working alongside coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. Migration tools support moving from Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager.

Pulumi is aimed at engineers, platform teams, and organizations managing multi-cloud infrastructure. The core engine is open source under Apache 2.0, with a free starting option and enterprise capabilities available through Pulumi Cloud.
