Get your Start menu back and more

Visit Pokki

Pokki is a Start menu replacement for Windows 8 that restores access to apps, files, settings and power options on a PC. It brings together local applications, websites and real-time notifications in one menu, while letting users search both the computer and the web from a single field.

The Pokki Menu includes Favorites for keeping frequently used apps, files and sites one click away, a Start menu with access to All Apps and Control Panel, and instant search that begins as soon as the user starts typing. Apps, websites and notifications can be pinned and organized in a layout modeled on smartphone home screens.

Pokki is aimed at Windows 8 users who want the familiar Start menu experience back on their PC. The product is described as free, and the site offers support, a privacy policy and terms of use.
