Plumio
Take notes in a privacy-first app you host yourself.
Plumio is a self-hosted note-taking application that runs on your own server through Docker, keeping notes under your control without third-party tracking or external dependencies. It is written in Markdown with live preview and supports multiple organizations and folders for structuring content.
The editor is built on Milkdown and supports GitHub Flavored Markdown, code blocks with syntax highlighting, math equations, and tables. Notes can be color-coded for visual categorization, and the application is built with Solid.js and Hono. It is released under the AGPL-3.0 license as open source, so the code can be inspected, modified, or contributed to.
Plumio is aimed at users who want to self-host their notes on their own infrastructure. It is deployed as a single Docker container with a provided compose file, and the homepage does not describe a free plan, trial, or paid editions.
