Pluggy is a Brazilian financial infrastructure API that connects software to more than 220 financial institutions through a single integration. It addresses the problem of building separate connections to each bank by providing one API contract for reading financial data and initiating payments. The platform is regulated by the Brazilian Central Bank as an ITP and is backed by Y Combinator.

The platform offers two products. Data connectors read balances, statements, cards, investments, identity and KYC data, using Open Finance and direct access, with webhooks for updates and data enrichment including transaction categorization, merchants and recurring detection. Payments supports Pix collection, single charges via dynamic QR codes or payment links, Pix Automático for recurring charges, and cash management features such as sweeping, top-ups and scheduled transfers. A sandbox is available for testing.

Pluggy is aimed at companies building financial products for their own customers, rather than individuals managing personal finances. Data and Payments are sold separately, each with a monthly minimum and usage-based billing above that volume. A 15-day free trial with production access is available without a credit card, and a free personal connector is offered for accessing one's own bank data.
