OCCRP Aleph Pro is an investigative data platform run by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, bringing together databases, documents, leaks and investigations to help users follow the money. It indexes both documents and structured data from spreadsheets and databases, and regularly fetches public records from over 200 online sources. Much of the archive is protected from public access due to data protection concerns, with access granted on a case-by-case basis.
Core capabilities include cross-dataset search, notifications when new data is added, and bulk comparison of persons of interest against other datasets. Users can upload their own files to private investigations, extract text, sketch diagrams to summarize findings, and cross-reference people and companies. The platform also supports importing tabular data, exporting FTM data, and API access.
Access is aimed at journalists, activists and researchers, with an application form reviewed individually for protected material and curated leaks. The archive covers assets, corporate ownership, government expenditure and individuals of journalistic interest, with a geographic focus on Central and Eastern Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, South America and offshore jurisdictions.
