Miniflux

Minimalist and opinionated feed reader.

Visit Miniflux

Miniflux is a self-hosted feed reader written in Go that aggregates Atom, RSS, and JSON feeds into a single interface focused on readability and privacy. It removes pixel trackers and tracking parameters from URLs, blocks external JavaScript, and uses a media proxy to limit third-party tracking, with no telemetry or advertising.

Features include OPML import/export, categories and bookmarks, full-text search, attachments and YouTube playback, a local Readability parser with custom scraper and rewriting rules, and regex filters for articles. It offers keyboard shortcuts, themes, touch gestures, and custom stylesheets, plus integrations with services such as Slack, Telegram, Notion, Wallabag, and Instapaper, webhooks, a REST API with Go and Python clients, and Fever and Google Reader API compatibility. Authentication supports local credentials, passkeys, Google OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and reverse-proxy methods. It runs as a single static binary, Debian/RPM package, or Docker image, and requires PostgreSQL.

Minifreeze is aimed at users who want to host their own reader. It is free and open source under the Apache 2.0 License, with an optional paid hosting service offered through a 15-day trial account.
