Mibew

Mibew Messenger, also known as Open Web Messenger, is an open-source live support application written in PHP and MySQL. It provides real-time one-on-one chat assistance directly from a website: a chat button is placed on the site, visitors click it, and operators respond through a web-based console.

Features include real-time chat without page refresh, unlimited operators, chats, users, and departments, a priority visitor queue, visitor tracking, themed invitations, and localization in 30+ languages. The chat button supports online/offline status, department buttons, and a "leave a message" option. The chat window offers a pre-chat survey, four included themes, typing indicators, transcript emails, and sound and visual alerts. The operator console includes canned messages, conversation history with search, visitor information such as geo-location and refer URL, chat reassignment and transfer, and nuisance visitor marking. Administrators can view and take over active chats, manage canned responses, and configure groups and features. SMTP email notifications, plugin support, and captcha-based spam protection are included.

Mibew runs on the user's own server and domain, requiring a web server with PHP 7.2.5+ and MySQL 5.0+. It is released under the Apache License 2.0 and is free of charge.
