Logical is a desktop AI assistant for macOS that monitors on-screen context to surface next actions, extract to-dos from emails, chats, and threads, summarize meetings, polish selected text, and answer questions. It runs in beta on macOS 14.0 or later for Apple Silicon (M1 or better), with a Windows app listed as coming soon.
Features include Lumos Mode for continuous awareness, meeting summaries with key moments and action items, in-place writing refinement, Clipboard History, Connected Tools for linking services, and Knowledge Bases for storing and querying documents and notes. Privacy controls include a local-first architecture where data stays on the device and only encrypted queries are sent to cloud AI models, plus custom filters, instant window hiding, and end-to-end privacy with zero data collection.
