LINGOT

Universal tuner.

Visit LINGOT

LINGOT is a musical instrument tuner that estimates a pitch and shows the relative shift to the closest note on an analogue-style gauge. Originally designed for electric guitars, it can tune other instruments by loading temperaments, supporting the Scala project .scl format for microtonal and non-standard scales.

The application is free software under the GPL and runs on GNU/Linux with a sound card providing line-in or microphone input. It supports Jack, ALSA, OSS and PulseAudio, and requires GTK+ 3.10 or above. Parameters can be adjusted at runtime through the GUI, including adjustments and scale settings, without editing configuration files. Source code is available from the project's Git repository, and precompiled packages are included in some Linux distributions, including Debian.

LINGOT is aimed at musicians who need real-time tuning across different instruments and temperaments, including microtonal work. It is distributed as free software with no paid editions, subscriptions or usage-based plans indicated.
