Visit Letos

Letos is a free, open-source desktop application for browsing and editing SQLite database files, aimed at people familiar with SQLite or relational databases. It was formerly known as SQLiteStudio and is released under the GPL v3 license. The application runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS, and is also available as a portable distribution that can be decompressed and run without installation or administrator rights.

Letos includes an advanced SQL code editor with syntax highlighting, hints, error marking, and a pretty-print formatter, plus support for encrypted databases such as SQLCipher, WxSQLite3, and System.Data.SQLite. It provides a built-in ERD editor for creating, generating, and updating entity-relationship diagrams, transparent database attaching for multi-database queries, and drag-and-drop copying of objects between databases. Custom SQL functions and collation sequences can be implemented in JavaScript, Python, or Tcl, and the application supports SQL and DDL history, data population strategies, import/export in formats including CSV, SQL, HTML, XML, PDF, and JSON, and an extensible plugin system.

Letos is free for any purpose, including commercial use, with no paid edition and no telemetry. It is packaged as a portable distribution and can be compiled from source on other platforms.
